Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Deposit

1.1. All bookings will be confirmed in writing via email.

1.2. A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of £100 for makeup and hair bookings, or £75 for makeup or hair bookings, is required to secure the booking for your wedding date.

1.3. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total balance of your booking.

1.4. Until the deposit is received, the date remains open for other clients.

1.5. Once a quote has been agreed upon and the deposit has been paid, the booking cannot be reduced. Additional services can be added, subject to availability.

1.6. Service prices are subject to change; however, once your deposit has been paid, your booking is secured at the agreed rate. Any future price increases or decreases will not affect your confirmed booking.

2. Makeup and Hair Trials

2.1. All bridal bookings must include a makeup and hair, or makeup or hair trial for the bride. This is vital to ensure everything runs smoothly on the wedding morning.

2.2. If a bridal trial cannot be completed due to unforseen circumstances - eg If you are not in the country at any time before your wedding date - In these circumstances, a video call must be scheduled to meet before the wedding date and chat through the plans for the wedding day.

2.2. The bridal trial will typically take place 4-8 weeks before the wedding date, but earlier trials can be arranged upon request.

2.3. A trial session typically lasts approximately 3 hours for makeup and hair, or 1-2 hours for makeup or hair, depending on the styles being tested. There is no official time limit as I want to make sure you are fully confident and happy.

2.4. Additional wedding party trials must take place on the same date and in the same location as the bridal trial.

2.5. Payment for the trial must be made in full prior to the scheduled session.

2.6. If you are unsatisfied with the results of the trial, please inform me during the session so adjustments can be made.

2.7. The trial is an opportunity to experiment and refine your look, which may involve some trial and error and not result with a picture perfect finish on that day. An exact plan for the wedding day will always be discussed ensuring you feel totally confident.

2.8. If an additional trial is requested by the client, this will be charged at the standard trial rate.

2.9. If you decide to cancel your booking after the trial, you must notify me in writing within 24 hours. The trial payment is non-refundable.

3. Final Payment

3.1. The full balance for all booked services must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the wedding date.

3.2. Failure to make full payment by the deadline may result in the cancellation of services, with the deposit being forfeited.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1. All cancellations must be made in writing via email.

4.2. The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances but may be transferable at my discretion.

4.3. If cancellation occurs more than 8 weeks before the wedding, no further charges will be applied.

4.4. If cancellation occurs within 8 weeks of the wedding date, 50% of the total booking fee will be payable.

4.5. If cancellation occurs within 4 weeks of the wedding date, the full balance will be due.

5. Changes to Booking

6.1. One additional artist will be provided for the following packages - The Mimosa - makeup and hair (bride plus 4), The Grand Royale - makeup or hair (Bride plus 6) and The Grand Royale - makeup and hair (Bride plus 6).

6.2. If an additional artist is required due to time constraints or a large bridal party, additional assistants can be arranged at a cost of £200 per assistant.

6.3. The need for an assistant will be determined based on the number of services required and the timeline for the wedding morning.

7. Cancellations by the Artist

7.1. I fully understand weddings are a significant commitment, requiring extensive planning and often bring a great deal of stress. I deeply appreciate the trust you place in me to be part of such a personal and important day.

7.2. In the very unlikely event that I am unable to fulfil the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, I will make every effort to find a suitable replacement artist.

7.3. If no replacement is available, a full refund, including the deposit, will be issued. However, the cost of the trial will not be refunded.

8. Delays and Client Responsibilities

8.1. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all members of the bridal party are present and on time for their scheduled services.

8.2. If a delay occurs that is beyond my control and affects my ability to complete services within the agreed timeframe, I will not be held responsible for any incomplete services.

8.3. Should a delay cause the need for additional time or an assistant, extra charges may apply.

9. Single Venue Policy

9.1. All bridal preparations must take place at a single venue. If services are required at multiple locations, an additional fee may apply to cover travel time, and any necessary adjustments to the schedule, such as requiring additional assistants. Any changes to the agreed preparation venue must be communicated in advance and are subject to availability.

10. Health and Safety

9.1. Clients must inform me in advance of any allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities that may affect the application of makeup or hair products.

9.2. I am not responsible for any allergic reactions or skin sensitivities that may occur. Additional trials for the wedding party are recommended if you have any concerns or known allergies.

9.3. If a client presents with a contagious illness (e.g., cold sores, conjunctivitis, etc.), I reserve the right to refuse service for health and safety reasons.

11. Agreement

10.1. By paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the above terms and conditions.
